The partnership between these two companies will accelerate availability of advanced, tablet-based POS solutions for retail companies in China, and marks Regentsoft’s first foray into the tablet-based application space as marketplace demand rises.

With a more than 20-year history, Regentsoft provides software services to more than 150,000 merchants across Greater China.

“Regentsoft has a long history of providing enterprise-level software solutions to hundreds of thousands of retail end-users across Greater China, and has done so by being the leader in innovation,” said Mr. Jiang Xudong, COO, Regentsoft. “The PowaPOS T25 is the ideal fit for launching our tablet-based FPOS software, due to its innovative, fully integrated design.

“Together, PowaPOS and FPOS will provide fashion retailers with an advanced, ‘plug and pay’ Windows-based solution to help them run their businesses,” continued Mr. Jiang Xudong.

PowaPOS is the first point of sale platform purpose built for tablet-based payments. It is the only fully integrated design to incorporate all common retail peripherals and support all POS software across all operating systems: iOS, Android and Windows. Through a single cord, the PowaPOS T25 powers a built in thermal printer, 2D scanner, universal tablet mount, orientation sensor, an optional PowaPOS Cash Drawer, and can support third-party payment devices, including NFC-enabled. With its advanced, single API SDK, PowaPOS easily integrates with all POS software applications, as well as PowaTag, Powa Technologies’ innovative mobile commerce enablement app.

Regentsoft’s FPOS is built on the company’s cloud-based platform, and specifically designed for fashion enterprises to build their retail management systems. Its comprehensive features include customer relationship management tools, inventory tracking and full-featured payment management. FPOS is compatible with Windows-based tablets as well as other mobile platforms.

“With this integration, PowaPOS continues to expand its global footprint, with a significant step forward in providing next generation tablet-based payments to the retail end-user in China,” said Zvi Mitlanski, SVP and GM, Asia Pacific, PowaPOS. “With Regentsoft’s FPOS, these retailers now have - for the first time - a fully integrated Windows-based tablet POS solution to run their businesses, complete with an unmatched ‘out of the box’ hardware experience.”
