Powa Technologies today announced that Nobly POS has completed integration with its PowaPOS T25 tablet POS hardware platform.
With this partnership, retailers and quick-service restaurants can leverage an EMV-ready solution and their combined expertise to easily manage the migration to EMV in the US, while benefiting from the advanced capabilities of a full-featured, sophisticated and customizable POS solution to run their businesses.
“PowaPOS gave us a single, clearly communicated SDK and excellent support, resulting in a solution that works seamlessly with the Nobly POS software and our EMV payment device,” said Sebastiaan Bruinsma, co-founder, Nobly POS. “Combining this ease with the sophisticated tablet-based hardware of the T25 gives us a best-in-class go-to-market solution for merchants in the U.S. and beyond.”
Nobly POS is a cloud-based, iOS point of sale software solution targeted to quick service and retail environments. Customizable features include payment processing, inventory management, customer intelligence, loyalty programs, analytics and local customer service. Customers pay a monthly fee for service, and can test drive Nobly POS first – with no commitment - through its free trial.
With its recent establishment of a US headquarters in NY, the London-based company is bringing its EMV acceptance experience to the U.S. at a time when merchant transition to EMV is critical. Nobly POS is currently serving more than 6,500 merchants and is available in 25 countries worldwide.
“The EMV migration in the U.S. is fast approaching, and small to mid-sized merchants in particular are looking for simple, ‘plug and pay’ solutions to make the transition,” said Jeff Dumbrell, CEO, PowaPOS. “Nobly POS provides an EMV payment solution that is ready for merchant adoption and use today, and is a great complement to the out-of-the-box experience of PowaPOS hardware.”
PowaPOS is the first point of sale platform purpose built for tablet-based payments. It is the only fully integrated design to incorporate all common retail peripherals and support all POS software across all operating systems. The PowaPOS platform features a built in thermal printer, 2D scanner, orientation sensor, and the optional PowaPOS cash drawer, all with just a single power cord. With its advanced SDK that includes a secure and firewalled interface to PCI and EMV compliant devices, PowaPOS easily integrates with all POS software applications, as well as third party payment devices and PowaTag, Powa’s innovative mobile commerce enablement app.
