BTCexpress launches bitcoin purchase sans registration or verification

Bitcoin is becoming increasingly attractive as an alternative payment method for online shops and their customers.

The essential advantage for consumers: the virtual currency eliminates completely the payment risk from online payment – thus personal payment details, such as those required for credit card payments, for using eWallets or for making bank transfers, are no longer necessary. At the same time Bitcoin is just as beneficial for online shops. Fraud and Chargebacks are ruled out and the waiver of fees in contrast to e.g. PayPal is making the processing of low value transactions possible. In order to use Bitcoin, customers need a corresponding Bitcoin wallet and a 'bureau de change' where they can exchange e.g. Euro for Bitcoin. For the first time, BTCexpress.net now allows Bitcoin to be purchased quickly without a registration and verification process which has been time-consuming in the past. Full details on the new Bitcoin Exchange Point can be found at www.btcexpress.net

Along with Bitcoin's growing presence in the online payment market, the number of Bitcoin 'bureau de changes' is also increasing. Until now, buying Bitcoin has certainly been laborious for customers, as a long-winded registration and legitimisation process was usually required. Up to now this was often too expensive for customers and made the advantages of anonymous payment via Bitcoin seem less attractive. BTCexpress.net now offers an appropriate, non-bureaucratic alternative which is just as secure. For the first time, users can buy Bitcoin quickly and easily without needing to register or go through a complicated verification process. All they require is their email address and the Bitcoin address of their personal Bitcoin wallet.

BTCexpress.net bases the Bitcoin sales price on the current average of the most significant real time exchange rates on the Bitcoin markets. Purchases of Bitcoin via BTCexpress are initially restricted to EUR 50 per day for new customers who have not been through the online registration and verification process. As customers build up a purchasing history, they will gradually be allocated a higher daily limit. Bitcoin can currently be purchased from BTCexpress using Giropay, Sofortüberweisung and SEPA transfer. As part of the market launch, BTCexpress is also waiving the payment handling fees. To purchase larger amounts, customers will need to register and use credit card as payment.

BTCexpress is available in English and German. A Dutch version will shortly follow, increasing the payment methods via ideal.
