Wolters Kluwer Financial Services announced today it continues to invest in and strengthen its governance, finance, risk and compliance solution suite with the addition of Richard Reeves, who joins the company as vice president of strategy for OneSumX®.
OneSumX provides financial organizations with a complementary and comprehensive ecosystem of GFRC solutions and services that enables them to take a forward-looking approach to managing compliance, risk and performance. In his new role, Reeves will work directly with Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ product management, sales, marketing and business development teams to help customers across the globe utilize OneSumX to address risks and business issues in the context of a much larger and holistic way of managing GFRC.

Reeves brings more than 30 years of industry knowledge, expertise and experience to Wolters Kluwer Financial Services. Most recently, he was senior director with Algorithmics/IBM, were he led the Business Intelligence Group. The group designed, built and launched the Algorithmics Strategic Business Planning tool, providing clients with integrated risk and return modeling. Reeves also led the product management of the new IBM/Algo Integrated Risk Platform Reporting solution.
Prior to IBM, Reeves was a managing director with SunGard-WhiteLight where he developed a Basel II team and solution based on the WhiteLight Analytic Server technology. In addition, he was a senior manager with KPMG, responsible for teams in the U.K. and U.S. offering financial service consulting services. Early in his career, Reeves was an IT consultant and project manager for rir, Reeves was an IT consultant and project manager for risk management software implementations. He holds a bachelor’s degree with joint honors from Durham University, England.
