Anthemis Group, the leading financial services investment and advisory firm, today announced that digital financial services veteran Amy Nauiokas is joining the organisation in the role of President.

Based in the London office, Amy will focus on leading the group's strategy, capital raising, marketing and investor relation activities. She will work closely with Sean Park, Chairman and Chief Investment Officer, and Nadeem Shaikh, CEO, to significantly grow and evolve the business.

Amy, who spent the last four years building her own media production and investment company, Archer Gray, co-founded Nauiokas Park in 2008 with Sean Park, which was one of the precursor companies that ultimately became Anthemis Group. She has remained close to Anthemis as venture partner and member of Anthemis' investment committee. In the almost five years since the Group was founded, the company has built an enviable portfolio of high growth, digitally native financial services companies, and created a leading advisory business that assists financial services companies looking to accelerate change through the strategic application of technology, talent and design. As the financial services industry continues to undergo radical change in all areas, Anthemis' original mission to re-invent finance through advising and investing in companies building financial services for the 21st century has proven to be prescient.

Amy, who was previously CEO of Barclays Stockbrokers, growing its revenue by 40% in less than two years and turning it into a global financial services portal, said, "I am thrilled to be playing a hands-on role at Anthemis, which has developed a strong and reputable brand in such a short period of time. Anthemis' track record and valuable network speak for themselves, and I look forward to continuing to help the team execute against our vision of reinventing financial services for the 21st century."

Sean Park said, "We believe this is the perfect time to leverage the first mover advantage and the industry lead we have worked so hard to build, and there is no one better placed than Amy to help us accelerate our growth and cement Anthemis' position ass an industry leader. She's a proven leader in digital financial services, well known for her energy and enthusiasm, and we couldn't be happier to have her back on the team."

Prior to her role as CEO of Barclays Stockbrokers, Amy was global head of ecommerce in the investment banking division of Barclays from 2004 to 2006. Prior to working at Barclays, Amy was senior managing director and partner at Cantor Fitzgerald from 2000 to 2004, where she not only helped to drive its brokerage business online but also played a critical role in the company's efforts to rebuild itself after the events of 11 September 2001.
