Infront adds cloud syncing functionality to market data terminal

Infront, the leading provider of market data, analytics and trading solutions, is introducing cloud-based synchronization that gives finance professionals access to their portfolios across office workstations, laptops and mobile devices with a single account, saving time and making them more effective.

The latest version of the Infront terminal adds a new cloud list feature that allows users to build watch lists of instruments on their desktop, laptop or mobile device. These lists are synchronised across devices whenever the user logs in, ensuring instant, consistent access to pricing, charts, news, analytics and other Infront terminal content and features.

“Getting access to the same market data, analytics and trading features they use daily via mobile devices and laptops makes working remotely much easier for our customers,” says Urs Rutschmann, Infront COO. “Infront’s new cloud-based synchronization means our customers don’t waste time on maintaining multiple lists to follow their portfolios in and out of the office, and makes them more effective when they’re out meeting clients.” More effective on the road with a mobile terminal

Available for Apple, Android and Blackberry devices, Infront Mobile apps also now make key data sets available via users’ mobile devices. These include equity analytics and estimates; real-time news with full text search; heat map displays for portfolio, industry or sector performance; index overviews with leaders and laggers; market calendar and broker statistics on holdings and trading activity.

These new capabilities augment Infront Mobile’s existing real-time pricing, news, charting and trading functions. At the same time, the latest Infront terminal adds new coverage for funds and bonds, as well as additional trading functionality.
