Small World FS, Europe's leading fintech payment services provider, has today marked the continued expansion of its digital services with the launch of online services in Sweden and Finland.
Present in 32 countries, Small World FS provides an integrated online and offline international payment service at a fraction of the cost of traditional operators.
In addition to launching online in Sweden, Small World FS has also further enhanced its service by adding a variety of new payment options to give customers an even wider range of ways to fund their transactions. Customers can now use local payment methods such as iDeal, ACH, Sofort Banking and Interac Online to fund their transfers in addition to convenient debit/credit card or bank account funding. The new ‘Repeat Transfer’ functionality allows customers to automate regular payment requirements and set alerts for themselves to ensure they take advantage of the best exchange rates and promotional offers.
The move into the Nordic region comes after another year of substantial growth for Small World FS, which has seen their digital transaction growth accelerate past 40% month-on-month, and the announcements of a range of new significant partnerships including Bank of Cairo in Egypt, MCB Bank in Pakistan and Afriland Bank across the African continent.
Adrie Kuyper, Head of Digital Channels at Small World FS, commented: “The international payments market continues to show accelerating growth, and we believe that our low cost, simple proposition is uniquely positioned to serve clients poorly served by both traditional banking models and digital startups with limited service coverage. Our customers continue to tell us how much they value the convenience of the multi-channel model, where they can use our integrated, solution to save on their transfers, whether on their phones, online or in store. Today’s announcement represents just one more step on our journey to continue transforming the market by bringing our low cost, simple, secure solutions to the global mobile workforce."
“We’re thrilled to be launching our integrated digital services in Sweden and Finland – but we have plenty of work still to do as we continue to lead the industry in bringing our low cost, innovative service to the market. For the rest of 2015 we have our eyes on several new markets and further new services to help more customers connect with their families”, says Nick Day, CEO and Co-Founder.
“There’s a lot of noise in the international payments market at the moment – however, I am proud that Small World FS is just quietly and confidently getting on with the job and delivering the results. With our huge global network for cash payments, integrated instant bank account deposit services and mobile wallet payout, we are leading the industry in terms of growth. Our full-service, proprietary technology platform is at the heart of enabling this growth on a global scale and driving rapidly increasing profitability across the group.”
