Bluestone Payments president Linda Rossetti to lead new W.net board of directors

Women's Network in Electronic Transactions (W.net), the premier organization dedicated to women in payments, has announced its board of directors for 2015.

The 15-member board will be led by Linda Rossetti, president, Bluestone Payments. Executive board officers include 2015 President-Elect Chris Lee, president of North American strategic partnerships and emerging markets for Moneris Solutions; Treasurer Gloria Colgan, managing director, Market Platform Dynamics; Secretary Theresa Gongora, head of corporate strategy and planning, TSYS; and immediate past-president Lisa Shipley, executive vice president and managing director payment division for Transaction Network Services (TNS).

2015 W.net directors include Jane Elliott, executive vice president and chief of staff, Global Payments; Diane Vogt-Faro, president, National Benefits Program; Carol Grunberg, senior manager payments and head of strategic partner management, Google; Joan Herbig, chief executive officer, ControlScan; Peggy Bekavac Olson, founder and principal, Strategic Marketing; Christine Larsen, Chief Operations Officer, First Data Corporation; Linda Perry, consultant, Linda S. Perry Consulting; Holli Targan, attorney and partner, Jaffe, Raitt, Heuer & Weiss, P.C; Kelly Tufts, vice president, portfolio marketing, Discover Financial Services; and Mary Uslander, senior vice president, product segment leader, First Data Corporation.

“As W.net president, my goal is to connect and empower women in our industry,” said W.net incoming president, Linda Rossetti. “During W.net’s tenth anniversary celebration this year, we will commemorate our past accomplishments and look forward by helping create greater opportunities for women in payments,” adds Rossetti. “The Board’s strong leadership skills and knowledge of the payments industry will benefit the entire W.net membership,” said Shawn Taylor Zelman, W.net’s executive director. “I look forward to working with this talented group of professionals to advance W.net’s mission and vision in 2015.”
