Planet Payment, Inc. (PLPM), a leading provider of international payment and transaction processing and multi-currency processing services, announces today that it has appointed Charles J. Giglia as the Company's Chief Information Officer, effective January 5, 2015.
Mr. Giglia was a founder of Dealertrack Technologies, Inc., serving as SVP Chief Information Officer. As part of the executive team from JP Morgan Chase, Mr. Giglia helped spin off and build Dealertrack into a publicly traded company. Previously Mr. Giglia served as VP Software and Infrastructure Engineering with Chase Retail Lending. Mr. Giglia holds a BS in computer science and a MBA in management, with a specialty in management information systems from New York Institute of Technology.
