Liquid Finance, the fast, flexible & accessible funding provider, today announced the appointment of payments expert, Kevin Coles as a non-executive director.

Coles will provide ongoing support and consultancy in relation to all aspects of the credit and debit card industry.

"We are delighted to announce the appointment of Kevin Coles as a non-executive director to Liquid Finance. As part of our aggressive business strategy, we are building a team of industry experts and Coles' in-depth knowledge and experience of the payments landscape will be a huge asset. This is an exciting time and we look forward to growing the business in the UK and Internationally" said Ian Morrison, director of underwriting and risk at Liquid Finance.

Coles brings over 40 years experience working in the payments industry and has held a number of board positions within the financial and technology sectors, including 33 years at Barclays and nine years at Lloyds Bank.

Kevin Coles commented, "I am delighted to join Liquid Finance at this exciting and important time. Today's SMEs are key to the success of our economy and being able to secure short term funding is one of the most important hurdles they face. Liquid Finance's expertise, coupled with the credibility of FCA regulation (provided by its sister company) ensures businesses can access the crucial funding they need."

Smart businesses are increasingly choosing alternative funding options, and Liquid Finance relish supporting organisations looking to drive sustainable growth. With funding provided in as little as 10 days (from application to cash in the bank), it is a complementary source of finance, in addition to a traditional bank loan.
