The latest affiliate to join was Mozambique. In cooperation with Tieto, Ecobank has built a reliable and flexible platform and implemented enterprise architecture allowing the Bank to pursue new levels of international commercial banking, enhanced profitability, and operating efficiency.

Ecobank issues Private label, as well as Visa and MasterCard international payment scheme branded cards. Its card products include debit, credit, virtual, prepaid and unique instant debit cards that allow the customer to receive a personalized payment card within 10 minutes. With Card Suite software Ecobank has passed PCI DSS certification, implemented smart cards and a fraud management system that have significantly reduced the losses related to fraudulent activities with payment cards.
