Worldline concluded a corresponding contract with the Swiss financial service provider. Later this year, the company will be providing the first terminals in Switzerland.

YOMANI payment terminals are specifically suited for use at point-of-sale (POS) in catering and retail outlets. They are characterized by their commercially proven design, a large amount of memory and easy connectivity for peripherals. Security plays a crucial role: The terminals use technologies possessing the highest degree of encryption and have a security processor. Extensive proprietary security precautions and international certificates, such as the PCI PTS 3.x with SRED, provide physical security and protection at the application- and data storage level. The built-in privacy shield also protects the cardholder from being spied on. The devices contain three clearly distinguishable, illuminated card readers, which guide the customer to the right reader, include backlit keys with tactile characters and have a large colour display. Moreover, the terminals accept all types of cards with chip, magnetic strip and optional contactless cards. 

The YOMANI terminals with colour display are particularly suitable for large commercial enterprises as well as "Multi-lane payment", i.e. accepting payment from all types of cards. Its USB interface offers a single-wire solution for connecting to electronic cash registers, including dial-up, GSM/GPRS/EDGE/3G and wireless LAN. Peripheral devices such as barcode-readers or scanners can be hooked up using a USB host interface. In addition, the YOMANI can optionally be equipped with a thermal printer. The sleek good looks and ergonomic design of the YOMANI won the Red Dot design award.

YOMANI is using the same SAMOA II technology like the YOXIMO terminal series. This ensures maximum performance with interoperability between the terminal series.
