Spindle, Inc., (OTCQB: SPDL) ("Spindle"), a leading provider of mobile commerce solutions, announced that its Yowza!! cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) platform will support the new Apple Pay solution that will be embedded in the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices.

For merchants that wish to accept Apple Pay, Yowza!! POS will provide payment processing through their merchant aggregation platform, which is the acquiring and settlement platform for Yowza!! POS.

"The recent news from Apple certainly validates the huge market potential of mobile commerce, and also reaffirms Spindle's strong position as a critical facilitator for these services," explained Bill Clark, Spindle's chief executive officer. "One of the primary advantages in having a cloud-based architecture is that we can easily integrate a wide range of technologies and features that will drive the mobile economy through accelerated merchant-consumer engagement, interaction and payment transactions. As a merchant services provider and a registered aggregator we are able to quickly and effectively add new mobile solutions to our platform and enable our retail partners to remain competitive and drive consumer engagement for both marketing and payment services, without any disruptions to their business."

Announced earlier this month, Apple Pay is a mobile payments solution that utilizes next-generation NFC (Near Field Communications) technology to facilitate 'tap-and-go' payments. The feature will be included in the new iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Watch products that will be released shortly. In addition, Spindle plans to support Apple Pay for its e-commerce customers when integration protocols become available.
