To date, Thomas Financial Group's affiliate company Thomas USAF has purchased in excess of $2 billion in Small Business Administration (SBA) and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) loans. In expanding Thomas Financial Group's role as a leading originator, the group sought out a technology solution to help manage customer relationships, track loan status, expedite borrower eligibility and underwriting without sacrificing loan quality and overall process integrity. By implementing nCino's Bank Operating System, Thomas Financial Group receives guidance on the loan package, automates otherwise manual tasks and enforces process governance. The Bank Operating System combines CRM, document workflow and management, reporting and more into a single platform, giving lenders a fuller view of each borrower relationship as well as the complete portfolio at any given time.

Thomas Kimsey, President of Thomas Financial Group, explained, "nCino allows us to drive more efficiencies and create consistency in our loan process, both of which contribute to increased profitability and loan growth. In order to quickly scale operations, the Bank Operating System enables us to deliver higher quality loans much faster than competitors. We will also benefit from nCino's CRM functionality, which will help us better track all borrower-related information and documentation to further enhance our service to the customers we have across the United States."

nCino's Bank Operating System will help Thomas Financial Group centralize and manage all forms and documentation required for any type loan. This eliminates any rekeying, adds consistency to how information is collected and organized, plus leads to faster processing by setting controls for approved parties to access the documents they need. The custom workflow configurations will keep documents on task and on time, as well as keep record of their path as an automatic audit trail.

"With more than 30 years of experience, Thomas Financial Group is already one of the leading originators, processors and underwriters of SBA and USDA loans," said Pierre Naudé, CEO, nCino. "By selecting nCino, Thomas Financial Group's team has a complete technology solution that benefits all stakeholders, equipping the organization to be more efficient, competitive lenders as well as stronger relationship managers."
