We are excited to announce a new interactive online tool that helps demonstrate how the different PayPal API's are able to interact in a live working environment.

The new tool called PayPal Demo is aimed at Merchants and Developers allowing users to step through a working checkout experience without having to build or develop inside a live environment.

The new demo website allows developers to be able to easily demonstrate the difference between the different PayPal payment options to Merchants and how that will affect the end user experience. To further enhance the experience there are options to be able to configure different screen sizes and how that is transferred to the user experience.

Once configured you are then able to see the code and best practice information assisting developers in the suggested do's and dont's of performing the relevant integration. The Website also assists developers in highlighting best practices to Merchants plus gives an interactive hands on to see the end to end flow of a checkout.

The PayPal Demo tool also offers the ability to see the integration from different device and platform points of view allowing users to switch between Web, Mobile and Native app view to get the full end user experience of the checkout and integration solution selected.

Also, part of the PayPal Demo tool is an interactive walk through guide that will step users through each part of the checkout experience and explaining each step the user takes and the type of interaction that is expected as part of the flow.

While the initial release will only cover some North American options and only some of the more mainstream integration options there are plans and a roadmap to release to more countries with more API and SDK options in the coming months. There are also plans to release more options to customize the experience with merchant assets and branding.
