Iress, the leading supplier of financial markets, wealth and mortgage management systems, today announces that its Xplan solution has been selected by international wealth management specialist Blevins Franks to support its private client wealth business.

The solution will be utilised across Blevins Franks operations, connecting the firm's head office in Malta with offices in France, Spain, Portugal, Cyprus, and the UK. When deployed during the remainder of this year, XPLAN will be used as the central operating platform covering advice, client service, back office support, marketing and compliance.

The ability of XPLAN to support Blevins Franks internationally was a key factor in the decision to partner with IRESS. Multi-currency and multi-asset class capabilities are vital for those working with clients across Europe, as is the ability to deliver efficient, consistent and compliant advice and service across distributed operations.

Advisers will also benefit from the XPLANtouch app, which allows real-time access to client data and portfolios via a tablet, boosting accessibility across Europe.

Mark Loosmore, Executive Intermediary Sales & Marketing, IRESS, said: "Blevins Franks is a highly respected specialist advice firm, operating in multiple countries, and has very specific needs as a result. Robust and flexible technological solutions are vital to wealth management, even more so when firms are working across borders. We are excited to have the opportunity to support their business proposition and ensure seamless and efficient processes for clients and advisers alike.

Nigel Green, COO, Blevins Franks said: "Implementing this new solution marks a significant step forward for our firm, and will underpin our ability to best target, service and advise our customers. We look forward to building our long-term partnership with IRESS."
