LCH.Clearnet appoints Jonathan Eliot non-exec director

LCH.Clearnet Group (LCH.Clearnet) today announced that Jonathan Eliot will join the Board of Directors of LCH.Clearnet Ltd, the Group's UK Central Counterparty (CCP), as a Non-Executive Director, effective immediately.

Mr. Eliot is an experienced risk practitioner, having held a number of senior risk positions in leading financial institutions. He has been Chief Risk Officer at Man Group since 2011, where he has overseen the introduction of a new, strengthened risk management framework. Previous positions include Market Risk Director at Barclays Bank from 2009 - 2010; two periods at Deutsche Bank, firstly from 2001-2003 and then from 2006 - 2007; and 14 years at JP Morgan from 1987 - 2001, where he was latterly Head of Asia Corporate Risk Management.
