Markit files for IPO

Markit, a leading global diversified provider of financial information services, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form F-1 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its common shares. The IPO would be solely a secondary offering.
