Markit, a leading global diversified provider of financial information services, today announced that it has filed a registration statement on Form F-1 with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) relating to a proposed initial public offering (IPO) of its common shares. The IPO would be solely a secondary offering.
BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays, Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank Securities, Goldman, Sachs & Co., HSBC, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, UBS Investment Bank, BNP Paribas, Jefferies, RBC Capital Markets and TD Securities would be joint book-runners for the proposed offering, which would be made only by means of a prospectus.
