Eze Software Group, a premier provider of global investment technology, today announced that Pete Sinisgalli has been appointed CEO.
Effective May 1st, Mr. Sinisgalli succeeds Tom Gavin, who had announced to employees and clients late last year that he would be stepping down for personal reasons after nearly sixteen years with the company, including nine years in the CEO role. Mr. Gavin will continue to play an active role with the company, serving on the board and acting as an ongoing strategic advisor to Eze Software Group.
Mr. Sinisgalli brings a proven record of success to Eze Software Group, having served in senior leadership positions in both private and public software companies across multiple industries. Most recently, he was president and CEO of Manhattan Associates (NASDAQ - MANH) from 2004 through 2012. During his tenure at Manhattan Associates, the company experienced significant growth and migrated its supply chain management solutions to a new technology platform. Prior to Manhattan Associates, Mr. Sinisgalli had been president and CEO at NewRoads, Inc., president and COO at CheckFree and CFO at Dun & Bradstreet Software. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Eze Software Group, Manhattan Associates, and Agilysys.
"I'm excited to join Eze Software Group and look forward to working with an experienced senior team that has established itself as the best in the business. The company's recent accomplishments and continued record of success are a testament to the talent and hard work of its 800 employees around the globe," said Mr. Sinisgalli. "I look forward to leading such a strong organization, helping it execute against its short- and long-term strategic vision while accelerating its growth even further in the years ahead."
"I am extremely proud of what the team has accomplished over the years that I have been with the company," said Mr. Gavin. "I am thrilled to know that I can transition the CEO role to someone with the talent and experience that Pete Sinisgalli brings to the table. In addition, Pete recognizes and embraces the long-standing cultural uniqueness of Eze Software Group and shares our belief in building a business focused on being 'a partner and not just a vendor.'"
"I know that I speak for the entire senior management team at Eze Software Group when I say that we are thrilled to have somebody of Pete's caliber and background join the Eze Software team," said Jeff Shoreman, co-president of Eze Software Group. "Pete brings a wealth of experience that will be extremely beneficial to us as we continue our rapid growth and significantly increase our long-term R&D investment."
