Shoreline Business Solutions, one of the largest independent providers of ATM, debit and credit cards for banks and credit unions nationwide, announced today the release of Cards in an INSTANT™.

The cloud-based instant issuance platform, Cards in an INSTANT addresses the time, cost and future demands of financial institutions of any size.

With Cards in an INSTANT, printers are installed on-site at the financial institution and managed locally by branch staff. Eliminating the need for costly and time-consuming on-site infrastructure, the platform securely stores data in the cloud. When needed, the data is encrypted and sent remotely from Shoreline to a printer at the financial institution, delivering customized credit, debit or ATM cards instantly.

Cards in an INSTANT is fully scalable for any size financial institution, from small banks and credit unions to large multi-branch institutions. The solution also supports emerging technologies at the branch level, including EMV and mobile solutions. In addition, Cards in an INSTANT is the only platform available that delivers instant issuance by providing financial institutions a 45-day installation under normal circumstances.

Cards in an INSTANT provides financial institutions new revenue-generating opportunities through immediate card usage, increased activation rates, in addition to operational costs savings, such as reduced paper, postage and mailing costs, lower card printing and inventory expenses and lower emergency card replacement costs.

"Instant issuance brings numerous benefits to financial institutions and their cardholders," said Brian Calabro, vice president of strategic partnerships at Shoreline. "Shoreline's Cards in an INSTANT is the perfect complement to a bank or credit union's current card production process as they can now print new or replacement cards immediately, while still relying on Shoreline for the bulk of large reissues."
