Diliger launches RFI request tool for procurement teams

Diliger, the global market place for financial institutions to source technology, consultants and services, has launched a new "RFI Request" feature for procurement teams to obtain pre-completed RFI responses from technology vendors and service providers.

The Internet has long failed to provide adequate research utilities for financial professionals seeking solutions and services, until now. The new RFI service from diliger will ensure greater efficiency for the buyers by assisting with requirements definition, supplier scoping and market research. From a supplier perspective, highly skilled sales people are liberated to engage directly with their prospects and clients. Freeing time for consultancy selling and project scoping rather than being buried in, often repetitious, paperwork back at the office.

For investment institutions this new service, while not intended to fully replace consultancy advice, provides the opportunity for, improved purchase decisions, and more efficient shortlist selection for further due diligence. This enables a shortened decision making process, time to project start and ultimately time to market.

"As part of the listing process, diliger stores quantitative and qualitative data on suppliers, their products and services" comments Christian Bower, CEO of diliger. "Our aim is to reduce time and resources spent on the RFI process by all parties and make procurement more efficient so time can be allocated to the implementation project rather than the buying cycle. As a salesperson, over many years I have witnessed how protracted buying cycles have stretched the patience of all concerned, frequently exceeding the time taken to implement a project. It's time to work smarter!"

Using diliger, registered buyers can now run a sophisticated search on their operational requirements, draw up a shortlist of solutions, agree to an NDA and request the completed RFI directly from the supplier. Upon authorisation by the supplier the buyer will receive a full report with company overview, product overview and a functional RFI response with tables showing capabilities and qualitative text.

Developed by industry professionals for the investment and capital markets, diliger sur supports both the buyer and the seller.
