Tyfone, a secure ID and transaction provider, today announced the launch of the Fluide Mobile banking platform. Using innovative technologies for mobile application development and deployment, Fluide Mobile brings secure and branded mobile apps in a cost effective and rapid manner.

Fluide Mobile is further enhanced by Tyfone's leadership in secure ID and transaction processing.

Fluide Mobile is initially targeted for medium and small financial institutions eliminating the hassles on IT support and fulfills the need for next generation consumer experience.

Financial institutions have long recognized the power of electronic services through their popular online banking offerings. Tyfone's experience shows that more that 70% of its current banking consumers are accessing online banking solutions through their mobile devices and that trend continues to increase. The richness, convenience at their fingertips, and ease of use are key drivers for consumers when they make banking choices. More than 50 percent of medium and small financial institutions do not have a mobile solution, according to a 2013 biennial survey by ICBA.

Fluide Mobile enables mobile at a cost and value that will be attractive to medium and small community banks and credit unions. This strategy is combined with Tyfone's expertise for delivering first class banking experiences on mobile devices that are consistently rated highly by consumers in app stores (above 4 out of a possible score of 5). The Fluide Mobile platform is a ground-breaking endeavor empowering medium and small financial institutions with the same consumer experience and service trajectories as their larger counterparts.

"We are excited to bring Fluide Mobile to market," says Mark Miyamoto, Tyfone's director of sales for mobile banking. "We have closed the gap between the haves and have-nots by enabling any financial institution to rapidly and cost effectively offer mobile services to their account holders. More importantly, we are offering a platform that can be leveraged for adding enhanced services, such as Remote Check Deposit, Mobile Marketing and Messaging, P2P Payments, and Mobile Payments at the point-of-sale (EMV) to accommodate the financial institution's mobile strategy whgy when applicable.

"Fluide Mobile is a culmination of technology, strategy and market need and I am very pleased that the Tyfone team, with its banking partners, is launching the Fluide Mobile platform for small financial institutions on this platform with this announcement," says Dr. Siva Narendra, CEO of Tyfone. "Fluide Mobile showcases Tyfone's versatile and secure u4ia mobile transaction platform that has already processed over 30 million financial transactions. While we are starting to deploy Fluide Mobile for financial services this platform will be used to rapidly and cost-effectively mobilize assets securely in other industries as well."

Fluide Mobile Features and Benefits

Fluide Mobile is an affordable, rapid to deploy and low-maintenance solution that brings robust, extensible features of mobile banking that larger institutions offer, to small and medium sized community banks and credit unions. Fluide Mobile runs on Tyfone's u4ia (pronounced euphoria) secure mobile transaction platform, which also allows Fluide Mobile customers to augment basic mobile banking with mobile messaging and marketing, mobile payments, Tyfone's multi-factor & layered security support to address emerging cyber security concerns, and ultimately payments at the point-of-sale as EMV arrives in the US.
