Focus Solutions, the leading UK based provider of first class multi-channel distribution software to the global financial services industry, is delighted to announce the launch of focus:360° 2.10.

This latest release is part of a significant, ongoing commitment to reinforce Focus' leading position in the enterprise multi-channel distribution space.

With development focused on "client serving", "cost to serve" and the "advice gap", Focus has placed significant emphasis on extending its rich, scalable, multi-channel distribution solution. The focus:360° 2.10 framework for segmentation and service proposition has been enhanced to support both the advice and consumer channels, resulting in improved efficiency in orchestrating the delivery and audit of multiple service propositions.

High quality and intuitive enhancements to existing capability allow users to create and more easily evidence a comprehensive, targeted service proposition with greater opportunity to interact with and engage the client. Servicing related features include a detailed, configurable and tailored client service report that can be made visible to clients through client portal. The client portal delivers online valuation drill down and performance tracking, document sharing, secure messaging and an information carousel which firms can use to push static or video content to clients. A version of client portal is also available through a new smartphone app.

To support users of focus:360° in better understanding their business and in monitoring the success of their service propositions, Focus have separated out their embedded reporting into a new Management Information (MI) warehouse capability. Alison Young, Product Management & Client Engagement Director at Focus Solutions commented: "Through the use of reporting data cubes, focus:360° users can control and manage the delivery of fast, reliable MI to relevant teams within the organisation, either through an onscreen dashboard with drill down capabilities or by producing reports on demand. A scheduling mechanism allows users to generate key reports in either PDF or excel formats out of core working hours to be available to users next time they login.

Whilst ad hoc reporting is still a feature, we aim to support focus:360° users in fully exploiting the use of MI within their business."

Dave Upton, Managing Director of Focus Solutions adds: "Over the last ten months we have closely monitored the outcome of RDR. We have seen a number of firms grapple with the challenges of the 'cost to serve,' building a new service proposition and the efficient execution of small transactions for existing clients. The 2.10 release coupled with other product developments that have been completed throughout the course of 2013 represents one of the most significant steps forward for focus:360° since its launch. We are very excited to see how our existing and new users of our product will take advantage of these fresh and enriching capabilities."
