Charles River, an enterprise-wide, front- and middle-office investment management solution provider, has expanded its offering of advanced fixed income decision-making tools by incorporating real-time mortgage analytics by The Yield Book into the Charles River Investment Management Solution (Charles River IMS).

Clients have a seamless integration to Yield Book analytics for Mortgage-Backed Securities (MBS), Collateralized Mortgage Obligations (CMO), Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities (CMBS), and other asset-backed instruments, based on The Yield Book's sophisticated prepayment models.

Charles River IMS now provides analytics across a full range of fixed income and derivative instruments. Users can apply a wide variety of value and risk measures for asset-backed securities, such as key-rate durations, convexity and option-adjusted spread for portfolio management, and retrieve cash flows and yields as part of their trading workflows.

"We continue to introduce fixed income enhancements for portfolio managers, including advanced tools that allow them to analyze credit, rate or currency exposure compared to benchmarks," said Tom Driscoll, Global Managing Director, Charles River. "Our solution combines all portfolio management workflows into a single view, with integrated data and analysis."

"We are pleased to partner with Charles River to offer our market-tested analytics in their enterprise-wide investment management solution," said Richard Burns, Global Head of The Yield Book. "The seamless integration of Yield Book Mortgage analytics will allow bond market professionals to make more informed portfolio management and trading decisions."
