Worldline ships new terminals; partners MasterCard on MasterPass digital wallet

Worldline, Atos subsidiary in e-payment services, presents its two latest payment terminals at Cartes 2013, an international event that takes place in Paris from 19 - 21 November.

YOMANI touch enhances the user experience with a large touchscreen, while YOMOVA brings the full payment experience to the counter of small businesses. Worldline showcases its latest innovations,including digital wallets, Contactless Mobile services, and Biometric Point of Sale at Cartes on booth # 3E017.

With its large full-colour touch screen and contactless reader, YOMANI touch lets merchants focused on extending customer interaction by offering more than just payment services. It's the latest addition to the award-winning YOMANI family.

YOMOVA can be used in a countertop or portable setting, with both wired and wireless connections.

Like all Worldline products, YOMANI touchand YOMOVA are manufactured in line with RoHS2 and WEEE standards. 

Separately, MasterCard(NYSE:MA) and Worldline, Atos subsidiary for e-payment services, announced today their extended partnership on the integration and deployment of MasterPass™, the future of digital payments. Worldline will develop a digital wallet platform with open interfaces available for card-issuing institutes based on MasterCard's MasterPass technology. Beginning next year cardholders will be able to sign-up for one of these wallets and use it for online payments wherever MasterPass is accepted using a PC or mobile device,such as a smartphone or tablet.Worldline showcases its latest innovations at Cartes 2013 booth # 3E017, that takes place in Paris from 19 - 21 November, including digital wallets, Contactless Mobile services, Biometric Point of Sale (POS), and the launch of new payment terminals.

After the recent announcement of the cooperation between MasterCard and Worldline to bring MasterPass services to Worldine merchants, MasterCard and Worldline now expand their cooperation for issuing banks and financial institutions. Worldline now supports the payment process by MasterCard end-to-end and provides a complete solution for e-payment that consumers and cardholders of issuing banks will benefit from.

With MasterPass, consumers will benefit by not having to enter their shipping and card information to complete their online shopping. This is possible at all occasions where merchants offer the logo "MasterPassTM" in their payment methods. With that, users can safely enter their card information - regardless of whether it is a credit, debit or prepaid card from MasterCard or any other major card scheme - as well as the data required for the delivery.

Customizable payment platform for the German market
With MasterPassTM, financial institutions will benefit from a smart, simple and secure way to implement a digital wallet service that enhances the overall consumer shopping experience. Worldline is now able to offer MasterPass as a new and innovative payment solution to issuing banks and institutions that benefit from a solution that has been adapted to accommodate the local market needs and requirements in accordance with the international standards and global technology from MasterCard.
