Mobile payments company Swish is launching their EMV Chip-and-PIN card reader solution at the CARTES Secure Connexions Event, taking place at the Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre from 19 to 21 November 2013.

The event is entirely dedicated to secure solutions for payment, identification and mobility, making it the ideal occasion to showcase the latest addition to the Swish mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) offering.

Expanding Swish's existing line of magnetic stripe-, and EMV chip-and-signature reader-based solutions, the new chip-and-PIN card reader fits comfortably in the palm of your hand. Its lightweight, compact design and excellent battery life makes it the perfect device every merchant will want to carry. The device already complies with the highest standards for card payment security, with EMV Level 1 and Level 2, and PCI PTS (SRED) certifications.

Specifications include a display, capacitive touch keypad and micro USB charging port. The device connects to Android- or iOS-powered smartphones or tablets via Bluetooth to securely process card transactions with the ease and speed of a conventional card terminal. With the addition of this device, Swish's white label mPOS solution platform now supports the broadest range of payment card acceptance device types in the world, chip-and-PIN and chip-and-signature device, both with integrated magnetic stripe reader, as well as a magstripe-only device.

Swish Payments finishes 2013 with major deals signed with two acquirers, an IT business solutions company, and a telecommunications corporation, securing global growth for the pioneering mPOS company.
