Hitec Laboratories (Hitec), a leading provider of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and Enterprise Content Management (ECM) software solutions, announce The Hanley Economic Building Society are one of a growing number of Societies to select their ECM solution, DataStoreDSX.

As part of a technology refresh, The Hanley Economic Building Society wanted a solution that allowed them to continue providing excellent customer service, yet offered increased functionality and a tight integration with their core mortgage and saving systems.

Having used Hitec's DataStore32 solution for many years, The Hanley Economic Building Society wanted the enhanced functionality, scalability and security that are all central to every part of DataStoreDSX; providing them with a solution that is capable of serving them for the next decade.

Jeremy Crame, CEO, Hitec comments: "We are delighted that The Hanley Economic Building Society will be upgrading to DataStoreDSX. We are working with a growing number of Building Societies to help reduce their operational costs by improving processes, addressing ever increasing regulatory requirements, and in some cases, implementing overdue technology refreshes. DataStoreDSX is our fourth generation ECM solution which is more than just an information repository; it consists of a range of components that can be implemented as an integrated solution or as a point solution to address specific business and compliance challenges."

Ian Stone, Computer Systems Manager, The Hanley Economic Building Society comments: "Hitec have provided us with excellent service for almost 20 years. It was therefore a natural choice to move to their new platform which will give us greatly enhanced functionality."
