Indata, a leading industry provider of software and services for buy-side firms, including trade order management (OMS), compliance, portfolio accounting and front-to-back office, today announced that Edgbaston Investment Partners, based in London, is live with Indata's iPM - Intelligent Portfolio Management platform.

Edgbaston Investment Partners, a boutique investment management firm with a focus on long-only Asia Pacific excluding Japan equities, was looking for a more robust solution that would not only give the firm more automation than their previous solutions, but also one that would provide compliance capabilities from a firm-wide perspective.

"The nature of our business requires us to demonstrate a complete audit capability for our entire investment process for compliance and regulatory purposes. iPM provides these capabilities whilst also providing tools to automate the major aspects of our investment workflow such as dealing and back office accounting," stated Matthew Myles, Chief Operating Officer, Edgbaston Investment Partners.

When iPM is deployed on a front to back office basis, firms are provided with a single and complete audit trail capability of the entire investment process from fund/account onboarding to investment decision making and trade generation, to trade execution and settlement, as well as ongoing client servicing functions related to the management of the portfolio. This stands in contrast to the vast majority of investment software systems that only involve a limited area of the investment process and that lack a unified audit trail for compliance purposes.

"We are very pleased to welcome Edgbaston Investment Partners to our growing roster of UK clients and look forward to benefitting from the expertise that they bring to the iPM client community at large," commented David J. Csiki, Managing Director, INDATA.
