VECTORsgi hires Phil Yarbrough to expand presence in non-bank markets

VECTORsgi, a leading provider of banking transaction applications, has hired Phil Yarbrough to help expand the company's presence in crucial markets, by creating a new sales channel. Yarbrough will be vice president of sales for the company's leading edge AdVance product line for non-bank markets, which include some of the largest companies in North America, and sales of the company's e-payments solution to banks.

Tim Simeone will continue as vice president of sales for the VECTOR line of business which is focused on the banking industry's demands for Check 21 solutions.

Yarbrough comes to VECTORsgi after a successful stint with Selkirk Financial Technologies, a treasury workstation provider for Fortune 2000 companies in North America and Europe. During his tenure, Yarbrough helped the company to completely revamp its sales process and enforced the Solution Selling methodology. Selkirk easily outdistanced its nearest competitors, winning over 57 percent of the deals they competed in during a down economy.

Yarbrough has also worked in executive sales and marketing positions with J. Driscoll & Associates, S2 Systems, BancTec and CompuTrac where he was president of the company. He began his sales career for Lanier Business Products where he was the number 2 producer out of 1500 sales people nationwide.
