Having decided to acquire a shared reporting system for all business units, the bank investigated all of the major solutions available today. Banque Populaire needed a system that would meet its need for large-scale reporting (in terms of the numbers of reports and distribution volume), publication of performance indicators, and ad-hoc reporting.

Banque Populaire Group selected Cognos ReportNet because it meets all of the bank's reporting requirements. Cognos ReportNet's sophisticated publication and access portal functionalities, along with its openness, flexibility, upgradability, and 100% web architecture, fulfill the Group's information system needs.

By supplying a reporting standard that will be shared concurrently by the entire Banque Populaire Group including Banques Populaires, Natexis Banques Populaires and Banque Federale des Banques Populaires, Cognos ReportNet will enable all business units to optimize their performance and standardize their reporting processes while reducing total cost of ownership.
