Farmington Savings Bank to deploy Unisys servers

25 July 2005  |  1580 views  |  0 Source: Unisys

Unisys Corporation (NYSE:UIS) today announced that it has signed an agreement with Farmington Savings Bank (FSB) to deploy enterprise-class servers to reinforce the bank's IT infrastructure as it experiences continued growth in the key markets it serves.

The Unisys servers include pay-for-use features that will allow the bank to better manage its current and future processing requirements.

The agreement includes Unisys ClearPath FS series servers, as well as both Clarion and Centera storage solutions from EMC Corporation. Pay-for-use capabilities give the bank a greater level of operating and budget control by allowing it to pay only for the exact amount of resources used, as it uses them.
