Anderson Zaks, a leading Omni-channel Payment Service Provider (PSP), has been selected by Partridges to provide its RedCard payment services. Anderson Zaks' solution has been fully integrated with the In Tech CHOISE EPOS system at the retailer's five central London stores.

The new solution will enable Partridges to implement Contactless payments at its outlets around Duke of York Square, its Food Market and its Café and Wine Bar.

Partridges looked at a number of solutions, and selected the fully integrated solution from In-Tech and Anderson Zaks as it mostly closely matched its requirements. The retailer implemented the EPOS solution first, and once this was well established within the business completed the second part of the project which was to introduce the card payment processing from Anderson Zaks. Faster processing at checkout has significantly improved customer satisfaction, and the company now has much higher visibility of purchase and sales data for each of its stores.

Ian Willard, a Director at Partridges who lead the project commented; "The implementation has been well managed and we have been very happy with the service. The integrated system has solved the issues that we had, and we are now processing card payments in about half the time that it used to take. This has reduced queues and significantly improved customer satisfaction, which was the aim of the project."

The RedCard solution handles all cards including credit, debit and charge cards, using Chip & PIN, contactless and magnetic stripe technology. In addition the system can cater for e-Top Up, gift cards, dynamic currency conversion and loyalty transactions.

Ian Willard added; "We now have a reliable POS and card payment solution in place that will support the business going forward. We are able to analyse sales data more effectively, which helps with merchandising decisions. What we particularly like about the In-Tech/Anderson Zaks solution is that the system will grow with us. The technology is now in place for when we are ready to take the next step, namely Contactless Payments, where customers will simply tap their contactless enabled cards to make payments. This will again speed up checkout for our customers."

Iain High, Managing Director at Anderson Zaks concluded: "At Anderson Zaks we are committed to providing our partners and customers with flexible options to best meet their card processing needs. We pride ourselves in remaining independent, which means that we can take the best technology to develop innovative solutions to meet evolving card payment requirements such as online, mobile, and contactless, that are reliable, fast and most importantly, secure."
