Iris Financial, a leading provider of component-based front and middle office software solutions for capital markets, has provided global solutions since its inception in 1990 and has offices in Tokyo, San Francisco, New York and London.

The move follows September 2003's $11 million investment from Apax Partners' Funds and the appointment of Michael Laven as CEO, who comments: "One of Iris Financial's strengths is that it has been a global organization from inception.
Making London our headquarters reinforces our commitment to have key management and technical resources close to our clients, who are in all of the world's major financial centers. They will benefit from our technology expertise deployed in both Silicon Valley and close to the clients themselves."

Aviv Handler, VP – Product Strategy comments: "Successful product development is a combination of both technology and business knowledge. Our position of being located in all the major markets and California gives us a real edge in understanding our clients' requirements. The decision to relocate the head office to London coincides with the continuing development of Iris Financial's front and middle office product line built using our Component Services Architecture (CSA) technology – details of which can be found on the company’s new web site."

As part of the headquarters relocation, Iris Financial has moved its office in the City of London from 10 Old Jewry to 25 Moorgate.
