Inetco Systems Limited, a leading provider of transaction-centric application performance monitoring (APM) software, today announced the availability of a real-time transaction events and analytics feed for HP Operations Manager, a product designed for monitoring faults in IT infrastructure.

This syslog feed will make it easy for users of HP Operations Manager to extract event-driven analytics across the volumes and variety of transaction data found in today's complex enterprise environments.

"Unlike most APM software, the INETCO Insight platform has open interfaces for forwarding data to any IT management and analytics system," said Bijan Sanii, President and CEO of INETCO. "This means faster access to rich transaction event data made available whenever, wherever you want it. By making it easy to forward the data they need directly into the performance management system of their choice, IT operations teams can consult fewer screens with better information, improving both workflow efficiency and service delivery."

INETCO Insight's open data interfaces allow the product to seamlessly provide real-time transaction events and IT operations analytics (ITOA) to other systems. Transaction status messages are decoded and forwarded into common IT performance management systems such as Splunk, IBM OMNIbus, NCR APTRA Vision and now HP Operations Manager. This status information can then be used to trigger incidents and actionable resolution processes based on user defined rules set within the management system.

With the ability to track incidents and set actionable alerts based on individual transactions, even those travelling through third party and virtual environments, users can speed up the identification of transaction failures, response time slowdowns and anomalies, such as unexpected response codes or TCP disconnects, anywhere within their production environment.

INETCO Insight's passive approach to extracting rich transaction intelligence off the network, combined with its unique ability to reconstruct transactions across heterogeneous application environments, also enables IT operations, service desk and front line support teams to monitor how all parts of their enterprise system are performing. This one-stop visibility is accoomplished with zero overhead - no agents or extra traffic loads required.

A version of INETCO Insight which includes the HP Operations Manager feed is available for testing and purchase immediately.
