Western Union renews agreement with Check 'n Go lender

The Western Union Company, a leader in global payment services, renews a multi-year agreement with Axcess Financial affiliate Check 'n Go, an innovative short-term, small-dollar lender.

As part of the agreement, the 1,000-plus Check 'n Go agent locations in the United States will continue to offer Western Union Money Transfer, money order, and bill payment services. Also, Axcess Financial's affiliate in the United Kingdom—Cheque Centre—will continue to offer money transfer services at its nearly 500 locations.

"We're excited to extend our alliance with Check 'n Go and Cheque Centre and strengthen our Agent network in the U.S. and in Europe," said Carter Hunt, senior vice president, Western Union. "We continue to build long-term relationships with Agents who recognize the value that Western Union can bring to their franchises by providing consumers with fast, reliable and convenient money transfer, bill payment and money order services."

"This will allow our stores to continue to offer customers a variety of helpful products to fit their financial needs in a convenient and flexible manner."

In the United States, Check 'n Go operates more than 1,000 locations in 26 states. In the United Kingdom, Cheque Centre operates nearly 500 locations in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland, and Wales.
