Reporting to Mark Zill, EVP, Lind brings more than 17 years of international industry expertise including his involvement in the strategic deployment of technology and operational efficiency. Lind will split his time between GoldenSource's New York headquarters and Boston offices.

Lind is responsible for strategic planning, market research, competitive intelligence, and product positioning at GoldenSource. Previously, Lind served four years as a director and senior analyst, securities and investments at The TowerGroup, he contributed to the growth of the investment management practice to become the largest research practice at TowerGroup. He also authored research reports covering market data, business process outsourcing, integration technology, data management infrastructure, IT governance, corporate actions, and straight-through processing (STP).

"Throughout my career I have promoted the notion that after its people and processes, data is the most important asset a firm owns. By joining GoldenSource, I am able to put my perspective, accrued through my relationships with vendors, institutions and the industry bodies, into practice," says Tim Lind, SVP of product strategy, GoldenSource. "It is an exciting time to be in this industry. Leading firms are renewing their core systems and have realized that their IT ambitions all begin and end with the data. GoldenSource is in a unique position to be the de facto data platform and I am thrilled to work with its blue chip client base and partners to further EDM strategies."

Prior to The TowerGroup, Lind spent six years at SWIFT's Belgium offices. There he held a variety of roles including manager, derivatives and treasury markets, responsible for the global business development and sales strategy for SWIFT services targeting foreign exchange and OTC derivatives markets. He was also product manager, securities standards division, responsible for development and positioning of SWIFT ISO 15022 standards, and was one of the primary authors of ISO 15022 corporate actions messages. Lind also spent six years at Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. as senior business analyst in the client communications department and trade operations.

"Tim brings a unique skill set to GoldenSource," says Mike Meriton, president and CEO of GoldenSource. "He understands the challenging data management issues faced by financial institutions and is able to define successful implementation scenarios that make it faster and more cost effective for institutions to deploy EDM solutions. Tim's expertise will help GoldenSource to continue to provide its customers with solutions that combat problems generated through their disparate data silos. With a series of significant strategic executive hires, GoldenSource's commitment to the EDM initiative is accelerating."

Lind holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics with a Minor in Political Science from University of Puget Sound, Tacoma, WA.
