Fiserv, Inc., a leading global provider of financial services technology solutions, today announced the availability of its Prologue Investment Portfolio Accounting application as a hosted solution via the Intelligent Workplace web portal.
Launched in the first quarter of this year, Intelligent Workplace provides centralized and cost-effective access to multiple Fiserv solutions that help manage performance, grow profits and protect assets.
Using Prologue Investment Portfolio Accounting via Intelligent Workplace from Fiserv, portfolio managers within banks and credit unions can utilize an unlimited number of security types for complete flexibility and customization as their portfolios change and grow. Fixed, variable, adjustable and step-up instruments are all handled with ease, and the system simplifies tracking of the unique characteristics associated with debt instruments, equities, CDs and liabilities.
"The ongoing changes in the financial services industry are driving financial institutions, big and small, to find better, faster and more cost-effective means to support accounting, reporting and compliance needs," said Danny Baker, vice president of product management, Risk & Compliance, Fiserv. "We've created Prologue Investment Portfolio Accounting to help streamline efforts around portfolio accounting and maintenance, and now are delivering that solution via Intelligent Workplace to bring Prologue's data and reporting into a centralized, real-time environment. In that environment, information can be easily integrated, reviewed and adapted with insights from other Fiserv risk management, financial accounting and performance management solutions for a more unified, accurate and manageable view of the overall business."
A single sign-on portal, Intelligent Workplace supports the full Prologue Financial Accounting Services suite, Credit Risk Modeler, Trend Modeler and Prepayment Modeler. The portal makes it easier for end users to manage and switch between these multiple applications, while seamlessly integrating an organization's risk, budgeting and reporting data and processes.
Fiserv will continue adding applications via Intelligent Workplace in 2013 and beyond to help banks and credit unions build and benefit from an overarching view of performance across their enterprise.
