Dom Inwestycyjny Investors S.A. (DI Investors), an independent Polish brokerage house, has selected SunGard's Valdi to provide a front-to-back trading and direct market access (DMA) connectivity solution to the Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE).

In order to provide brokerage activities on the WSE's new trading platform, DI Investors chose SunGard's Valdi trading solutions, which will give users DMA access on the WSE, as well as market-making and advanced trading functionalities. The addition of middle-office capabilities will also help facilitate the integration of the trading brokerage activities into DI Investors' back-office, helping to provide additional efficiency.

"SunGard's trading solutions offer a cost-effective and efficient way for our traders and clients to access the WSE. SunGard, with its strong expertise and knowledge of the Polish capital markets combined with its connectivity capabilities, offered the ideal solutions to help us achieve agile growth." - Tomasz Bardzilowski, managing director, vice president of the Board, DI Investors

"Poland remains a resilient area of growth in Europe, and access to its capital markets is an attractive proposition for SunGard's customers. For emerging European markets, Poland is a blueprint of how to do things right." - Philippe Carré, global head of connectivity, SunGard's capital markets business

DI Investors is the twenty-first local member of the WSE to choose SunGard solutions to power their trading floor in Poland.
