Vincent Barnaud joins C-SAM as general manager

C-SAM, a pioneer in secure mobile transactions technology offering a range of mobile-based applications for financial as well as non-financial services, today announced that industry veteran Vincent Barnaud has joined the leadership team as general manager and will oversee the firm's sales, business development and customer relationship management activities in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Barnaud, who will work out of the Paris office, has an extensive background in near-field-communication (NFC), smart cards, product management, business development and sales. Prior to joining C-SAM, Barnaud served as director of contactless services at Orange France Telecom where he managed the organization's global strategy and led its universal NFC and mobile wallet initiative. During his time there, he delivered a global roadmap that included devices, SIMs, and service platforms and coordinated the roll-out with affiliates.

Barnaud has spoken at several industry events pertaining to contactless services and NFC, including the NFCP Global Summit and Mobile World Congress Asia and Barcelona. Barnaud holds a bachelor's degree from Brighton University in the U.K. and a master's in management from EDHEC Business School in Lille, France.
