Tsys promotes international services executives

Tsys (NYSE: TSS) today announced the promotion of two senior executives in its International Services segment. Dennis Jones has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Business Operations, TSYS International, and Ian Thompson has been promoted to Group Executive of Human Resources, TSYS International.

"Dennis and Ian have both done an outstanding job during their time with TSYS," said Gaylon Jowers, Jr., president of TSYS International. "Their leadership qualities and experience will be invaluable as we continue to expand our operations internationally."

Dennis Jones, Executive Vice President of Business Operations, TSYS International Jones oversees the operations teams responsible for account migration, data center and facilities, customer care and production support within TSYS' International Services segment. Jones has led many large-scale operations in multiple countries across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, the UK and the U.S., managing portfolio strategy and performance, acquisitions and joint ventures, as well as sales and marketing. He has held senior executive positions at NatWest and subsequently RBS, including a two-year assignment as Chief Executive Officer at RBS National Bank in the U.S. More recently, Jones served as President of the Neteller Division of Optimal Payments and Managing Director, Neteller UK LTD.

Ian Thompson, Group Executive of Human Resources, TSYS International Thompson joined TSYS in 2011 as Senior Director of Human Resources for the International Services segment. He leads the International HR team, delivering HR services to team members in ten countries outside of North America and supporting executive leadership in driving international business forward. Thompson has more than 15 years of progressive global senior HR experience leading HR strategy development, mergers and acquisitions, recruitment, retention, compensation and training. Prior to joining TSYS, Thompson held senior HR positions in a wide range of industries including positions at Norwich Union Life and Aviva Offshore Services.
