The powerful, value-priced BEETLE /V includes a retail-hardened BEETLE system complete with display, printer, keyboard, and cash drawer, all at a very attractive price - and now with added functionality and increased performance.

"All of our retail-hardened BEETLE POS systems are based on Intel's embedded chipsets, delivering the utmost in reliability at a low total cost of ownership. This provides our customers with a consistent, stable platform and configuration for multi-year rollouts," said Doug Evans, vice president of retail, Wincor Nixdorf USA.

"The BEETLE /V package is based on the same BEETLE philosophy," he continued. "From the Intel 1.2 GHz Celeron package to the Pentium 4 optional upgrade, the BEETLE /V is the obvious choice for affordable, robust POS solutions that outperform conventional PCs."

The BEETLE /V package can easily be configured to a retailer's requirements, with many options available including a touch screen, customer display, and integration tray. Wincor Nixdorf also offers the best spare parts guarantee available from POS manufacturers: seven years beyond end-of-life.
