Portware LLC, the industry's leading developer of real-time execution management systems, announced today that Stuart Adams has been appointed Head of European Operations.
In this new role, Adams is responsible for expanding Portware's network of clients and forging strategic alliances across Europe. Adams, a 22-year veteran of the financial services industry, will also be responsible for overseeing account management, technical support and development at Portware's European headquarters in London.
Prior to joining Portware, Adams was Managing Director at AKJ, a London- based technology solutions provider to the global hedge fund and asset management community. Adams has also held executive-level positions with Brut Europe, the European arm of the recently acquired Brut ECN, and Instinet Global Services where he was responsible for developing senior institutional relationships and new business as the company's Institutional Sales Director. Adams has also consulted for a number of technology companies within the financial sector.
