End-to-end core banking solutions and services provider JMR Infotech on 8 May 2013 announced the opening of its new office in Kenya, reinforcing its aggressive expansion strategy in key emerging markets.
The office, located in Nairobi, is the company's third office in Africa, following successful launches of offices in Nigeria and Ghana. The Kenya office serves as a regional support centre for East African clients.
Strengthening the company's presence in East Africa, Kenya office will play a key role in helping the company increase its reach and logistics flexibility across the region. JMR Infotech currently serves many key players in Africa's banking and financial services sector with its portfolio of solutions and services including Core Banking, Channel Banking, Wealth Management, Islamic Banking, Fund Management, Investor Servicing and crime and compliance management solutions like Anti Money Laundering, Operational Risk, Know Your Customer, Enterprise Fraud Management and Currency Transaction Reporting.
JMR Infotech sees many opportunities in the region as financial institutions in East Africa are largely embracing technology to enhance their operations and increase competitiveness. Banking and financial institutions in the region have moved to automate their processes or transform existing IT infrastructure with the objective of maintaining competitive edge by providing new and differentiated products and services to the ever demanding customers. In this scenario, JMR Infotech's portfolio of solutions and services that are delivered through its unique Extended Arm engagement model will help banking and financial institutions to address the growing demand effectively. Through Extended Arm engagement model, the company works as an 'extended arm' of its clients by giving them the opportunity to reduce investment and total cost of ownership.
"The opening of this office in Kenya is an important and exciting part of JMR Infotech's ongoing global expansion and it reflects our commitment to provide unparalleled solutions and services to our growing clientele in the East Africa region," said Jayafar Moidu, CEO of JMR Infotech.
"Establishing Kenya office is a key step for JMR Infotech's Africa efforts that will further enable us to get closer to our growing clientele and accelerate growth in the region" he added.
