EastNets, a leading global provider of compliance and payments solutions, has announced the appointment of Robin Farshadfar as General Manager of EastNets Americas, based in New York City, responsible for the leadership, operations and management of EastNets' expansion in the USA, Canada, and the Caribbean.
A veteran with over 30 years of banking, treasury management and compliance oversight experience in the mainstream banking industry, Farshadfar is well versed with US and international banking and regulatory environment, and has an extensive background in financial technology operations.
Previously, Farshadfar was the Global Industry Solutions Director at Infoglide Software Corporation, a key technology provider to The Department of Homeland Security and other organizations. Prior to that she was the Operations Director for EastNets Americas.

During the course of her illustrious career, Farshadfar has liaised with major banking corporations worldwide and many fortune 500 corporate treasuries. She is Treasurer of the International Association of Financial Crimes Investigators (IAFCI) NY Metro Chapter and Board member of the Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists (ACAMS) CenTex. Prior to her first stint with EastNets, Farshadfar was Assistant Vice President &ndassh; Treasury Support & Payments Manager for Helaba Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen, responsible for assisting treasury management operations, administering anti-money laundering controls and regulatory compliance applications.
