Diasoft, a global provider of innovative financial software solutions, and a world's technology leader IBM have successfully completed the first stage of the joint complex implementation in İŞBANK.

İŞBANK entered the Russian market with an expansive long-term business strategy. To support the realization of this strategy, the bank needed to implement a modern software complex based on a reliable hardware platform. To automate the main banking business processes, the bank selected Diasoft's software complex incorporating a renowned component-based Diasoft FA# back office and a flexible high performance FLEXTERA Front Office. As a technological platform, İŞBANK chose IBM PureFlex — a fully integrated system with unified management of computing, networking, memory and virtualization resources.

Diasoft offered to its customers a complex turn-key project. The first project stage was successfully completed just within 5 days. During this short timeframe, the experts from Diasoft's Competency center together with IBM's specialists deployed an integrated hardware and software platform PureFlex, after which they proceeded to configuring Diasoft FA# and FLEXTERA applications. Simultaneously, the companies arranged a comprehensive training program for the bank's users aimed to enhance their system administration skills. The acquired knowledge will allow the bank's staff to support the system on their own in the future.

"The collaboration of the global vendor IBM and the leader of the Russian IT market Diasoft is first of all beneficial for their customers. We are sure that the alliance of such strong technological partners will help us to realize all of our business plans and support the future business growth here in Russia. We are impressed with the first results and are looking forward to completing the whole project", commented the results of the first project stage Bahadir Erol, Director of the IT Department, İŞBANK.

İşbank is the largest Turkish bank. According to "The Banker" magazine, as of July 2012, the bank is rated among the TOP100 largest global banks. Currently, the bank uses one of the most advanced on-line technologies. The bank's assets include:

• 18 overseas branches,
• İşbank in Germany which operates 16 branches across Europe,
• a representative office in China,
• a representative office in Egypt,
• CJSC İŞBANK Russia which runs 13 branches.

The use of modern technologies allows the bank to operate in the real time mode and support the unity of its services throughout the whole banking network.

In 2011, İşbank acquired a Russian-based bank SOFIA and changed its name into CJSC İŞBANK. Currently, CJSC İŞBANK develops its IT infrastructure, actively applying the best global technological achievements. The bank's main efforts in the sphere of its IT development are focused on the expansion of the range of the offered services as well as on improvement of their value and competitive position in the market. In its IT strategy, İŞBANK builds a platform that will allow for the successful future growth of all of its business lines.
