Temenos (SIX: TEMN), the market leading provider of mission critical solutions to the financial services industry, today announces that Temenos will be providing Caisse Financial Group (CFG) with a suite of products including T24, the world's leading core banking application, Insight, Temenos' business intelligence product, and Temenos Connect, its front-end channels offering.

CFG's decision to partner with Temenos was driven by a number of objectives including the need to replace a legacy system, the desire for a product which is current, scalable as its business grows, flexible and innovative and the need to be more efficient operationally with increased functionality. CFG also wanted an integrated product rather than multiple systems and as well as a bilingual system with customers needing to transact in both French and English. With T24 at the core, the Temenos suite of products fulfilled all of these objectives.

To ensure the fastest possible implementation time, it was also key to CFG that their needs could be met on day one without extensive development. Temenos' unrivalled experience in the Canadian market combined with its packaged, out-of-the-box solution with a Canadian model bank already available, were key differentiators of the Temenos offering.

Russell Taylor, Temenos Head of North America, said: "The Canadian market is of strategic importance to Temenos and we are delighted to have extended our record of recent successes. It is pleasing to see our investment and knowledge of the market paying dividends and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship with CFG."

Bernard Marcoux, Vice-President, Information Technology at Caisse Financial Group, commented: "The decision to partner with Temenos was driven by our business objective to increase our operational efficiency with an integrated technological solution that could also enhance our mobile and online service offering. Caisse Financial Group provides services to over 30,000 members via a network of 26 branches located in 24 communities across rural and urban Manitoba and so we rely heavily on smart, effective technological solutions to deliver quality service to our members. The solution proposed by Temenos fit our strategic objectives at all levels: corporate, operational and member service."
