TD Bank, America's Most Convenient Bank®, is updating its ATM fleet throughout the bank's Maine to Florida footprint.
The new ATMs feature touch screens, envelope-free deposit capabilities and the ability to view scanned check images and itemized cash on the receipt following a transaction.
Since September, TD Bank has been updating its more than 1,900 ATM locations and expects all ATMs to be updated by end of summer of 2013. In addition to ATMs, TD Bank offers customers access to more than 1,300 TD Bank stores with the best hours in banking, as well as free 24/7 live customer service via phone and free online and mobile banking.
"TD is creating legendary experiences with our new ATMs," said Jim Grimmer, Senior Vice President, Head of ATMs for TD Bank Group. "Our new ATMs are a good example of the type of strategic investments we make to create a more convenient experience for our customers. We're also committed to being as green as our logo by using renewable energy sources to back them."
The ATMs will also play an important role in TD Bank's ongoing efforts to minimize its environmental footprint. All the ATMs, called "Green Machines," will be backed by 100% by wind power and the envelope-free capabilities will save more than 52,000 lbs of paper each year.
