paysafecard group, Europe's leading prepaid payment provider, today launched its latest product "my paysafecard" in 21 countries. The new online account provides customers with an additional option to pay online.

Customers can now combine their paysafecard PINs in an online account. Instead of having to enter individual PINs for each payment, the online account enables customers to pay with their unique user name and password. my paysafecard is not linked to any bank account and can be topped up by using paysafecard PINs.

my paysafecard gives customers a full overview on information such as the current account balance and transaction history at all times. The convenient system automatically combines the paysafecard PINs for each payment, ensuring that the remaining credit on the paysafecard PINs is always used up. Additional features will follow over the next few weeks.

Simple and free registration

The registration process for my paysafecard is simple as it only requires an email account and a mobile number. The minimum age is 16. No fees apply for the registration or use of my paysafecard. Neither the customer nor the outlets (e.g. online shop) need any additional hardware or software to use my paysafecard.

The previous payment process, for which the 16-digit PIN is required at the outlet (e.g. online shop), remains in place. For each payment transaction, the customer can choose between the previous payment method using individual PINs and easy payment with my paysafecard.

Michael Mueller, CEO of paysafecard group: "my paysafecard is the next logical step on our mission to provide consumers with secure payment solutions for the Internet that don't require a bank account or credit card details. With my paysafecard, we have made the usage of our PINs even easier and more convenient. Consumers who want to have an overview of their balance and payments will appreciate my paysafecard."
