In response to the growing demand in the European market, SIX Financial Information has expanded its Evaluated Pricing (EP) business by establishing a new valuation team in Frankfurt.
The designation of a local team of EP evaluators, enables SIX Financial Information to react more quickly and effectively to the individual needs of its European clients and extend coverage of European assets, strengthening its position as one of the leading providers of independent price evaluations.
The team of evaluators based in Frankfurt is responsible for assessing OTC products, carrying out market conformity checks, and valuing financial instruments in the fixed income and derivatives segment. The team is also responsible for supporting European clients, a task that requires close collaboration with a second EP team in Stamford (USA) and EP consultants in the world's key financial centers.
"At a time when clients are placing great importance on quality and service, the presence of a central EP team in Frankfurt, one of Europe's key financial center, is being received very positively. Clients are benefiting from direct contact and rapid response times," explained Thomas Stumpf, Head of Evaluated Pricing Valuations Europe and head of the EP team in Frankfurt.
The Evaluated Pricing Service (EPS) from SIX Financial Information offers transparent and independent valuations for a wide variety of hard-to-value financial instruments. The underlying valuation methodology has been developed by SIX Financial Information and has been independently validated by a major international auditing firm. EPS supports businesses to efficiently meet regulatory requirements and financial reporting obligations, and is already servicing over hundreds of clients worldwide.
"The creation of an EP valuations unit in Europe continues the development of our EPS into additional asset classes - as evidenced by our recent partnership with Numerix in OTC valuations - and into different regions. This expansion demonstrates our commitment to further enhance the service to meet growing client requirements," said Bruno Burlon, Global Head of Evaluated Pricing of SIX Financial Information.
