Under the terms of the license agreement WorldNet will provide Payius with a fully hosted Payment Gateway solution on the WorldNet platform. WorldNet will provide Payius AB with a full suite of eCommerce and Mobile payment solutions for distribution under the Payius AB brand in Sweden and other selected International markets.

WorldNet Chief Executive, Will Byrne commented, "We are delighted to announce our agreement with Payius AB as it represents a very significant milestone in the expansion of our business to new markets and jurisdictions beyond our existing Partner base.

This alliance is another important step in our strategy of providing our International 'White-label' Partners with own-brand, cost-effective and market-ready ecommerce and mobile payment solutions. We look forward to working with the Payius AB team to deliver our innovative products and support services to their target customer base," said Byrne.

"Payius AB will compete at the highest level of ecommerce and mobile processing with the addition of our new multi-channel gateway platform" states Tom Ericsson, Chief Executive Officer with Payius AB. "Payius AB is the first payment service provider to offer WorldNet's proven gateway solution to merchants in Sweden and the Nordic Region. The ability to offer our own version of the product software supported by the talented professionals of both organizations brings the Payius AB proposition to an exciting new level," said Ericsson.

"We are pleased to add WorldNet's innovative online payment platform to our ever increasing portfolio of technology solutions," commented Richard Zehnal, Head of Strategic Relationships with Payius AB. "This alliance is another important step in our strategy to deliver versatile online solutions for ecommerce and mobile payments which are secure, cost-effective and easy for customers to manage. We look forward to working with the WorldNet team to deliver these innovative solutions to our customers in the immediate future," said Zehnal.

John Clarke, Head of Product Innovation at WorldNet commented that "the WorldNet online Payment Gateway is a multi-channel solution, which addresses both eCommerce and mCommerce requirements in a seamless manner. Add to this the ability to customise the solution and we dramatically reduce the time for our partners to get to market with a full branded offering.

We provide acquirers, payment processors, specialist service providers, ISOs and banks with an immediate opportunity to deliver high quality online and mobile payment products using their own brand, without the need to deploy scarce capital and IT resources in the development of costly payments infrastructure. Our agreement with Payius AB means they can offer our tailored payment solutions to their customers across multiple markets, to a full range of target business sectors, with immediate effect. "said Clarke.
